My School Review: Thursday, February 7th, 6:30-8:00 in the school lunchroom

The first meeting was a great success, with a record turnout for our entire Ward, and got us off to a very strong start. As the process moves forward we need more of you to share more of your ideas to help create our ideal Earl Beatty. (Well, at least to see some of the changes we'd like to see.)

Our school board trustee, Sheila Cary-Meagher, will attend the first part of the meeting, so come early and get energised and informed. We hope to see you
in the school lunchroom,
Thursday, February 7th from 6:30 to 8:00.

Refreshments will be available.
Childcare will be available.

Sincerely,

Kate Wallis, Co-Chair EBSAC

PS The third and final "My School Review" gathering will take place on Thursday, March 6th from 6:30 to 8:00.

PPS For those of you who contributed to the first MSR meeting the scribes' notes will be back at the next meeting for your refinements and additions, before "publication".

Eco Team Minutes from January 24th, 2008

Here are the minutes from January 24th meeting.

The meeting was in two parts: the older kids talked about their ideas for the in-school Eco Team, then the parents continued with a discussion of their ongoing plans. At the same time, the little kids were occupied with an activity about recycling.
It was both productive and lots of fun and we look forward to the next meeting on Thursday, February 21st at 6:30 pm in the lunchroom. Please bring indoor shoes!
Everyone is welcome to join the Eco Team and help our kids help the environment! Contact me to be added to our mailing list:
