Make a difference - join the new Fun Fair Committee!

Dear Parents,

Your creative ideas and enthusiasm are needed to form a new Fun Fair Committee for this school year! The Fun Fair, held in May, is 5 years old but is in need of a new group of parents to organize it.

If you'd like to make a difference at your child's school please consider being on the Committee. It's a great way to meet people and work with them towards a common goal, that being organizing the largest fundraiser of the year for Earl Beatty.

The old Committee is committed to helping with the handover and has all the Fair information in an easy to use binder (processes, contact information, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and much more).

Earl Beatty needs your QSP paper order subscriptions in by Tues Oct 27th!

Keep those final paper orders for QSP subscriptions coming! There are a few final orders coming into the website as well. There's only a limited time left for subscriptions to count towards your prizes, so gently remind anyone who asked for an order form but hasn't sent one back yet.

Please make a special effort to have all orders in by the end of Tuesday! Yes, that is tomorrow!

Remember that orders can be placed any time of year at http://www.QSP.ca and that those orders will always benefit your school. Our school number is 9156.

We've made some great progress toward our goal. Earl Beatty is almost at $10,000 in subscriptions! Get those final orders in and let's see how high we get!

Note to Earl Beatty parents re: Fun Fair Committee

Dear Parents,

This note is to advise Earl Beatty parents that the Fun Fair Committee is stepping down after 5 years.

We've had a great time organizing and running the Fair, and have had wonderful volunteers helping us, but with much thought we've decided to step aside and let a new enthusiastic group, with great ideas, take over and make it their own event.

To help the new committee we have put together a binder which includes all processes and contact information we've used over the past 5 years, e.g. donors, sponsors, volunteers, and much more.

We are also more than happy to help with any questions the new committee may have.

If you're interested in being part of the new Fun Fair Committee please contact: Tina Lehtola, tinaslehtolaAThotmailDOTcom

Thank you,
