News from the Earl Beatty Eco-Team

Thanks to students at Jackman School, a TDSB Platinum Eco School, Toronto residents can now recycle items such as:
  • Clamshell containers (hinged, clear plastic containers used for food items such as berries and take-out)
  • Clear fruit and vegetable containers
  • Clear take-out food containers
  • Moulded bakery item trays
  • Plastic plates and glasses
  • Egg cartons
  • Cold beverage cups/lids
  • Compact disk cases (empty)

October 15-21 is Waste Reduction Week in Canada. Learn more here 


Stay tuned for more information on the Earl Beatty Eco-Team throughout the school year. The student club will be run in March to May, and efforts will begin shortly to once again certify Earl Beatty as an Eco-School.
